Create Technical Scholarship Account – Sarasota FL Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi

The Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to announce its request for applications to compete for the awarding of scholarships towards continuing your pursuit of a technical certificate or 2-year technical degree. Please see the below application for the Sarasota-Bradenton Technical scholarship for 2025. All applicants must meet the following criteria:

A student from Manatee or Sarasota County.
A 2024/2025 graduating high school senior or student currently enrolled in a certified technical certificate or degree program.
Have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Present one (1) letter of recommendation from a school representative.
Present a high school or college transcript.
Present a letter of acceptance from a university/college (not required with initial application if not received).
Requires FAFSA

Attached please find a copy of a Scholarship Application Form. The completed packet may be emailed to cjwillis07@yahoo.com, or returned via mail to Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. P.O. Box 573, Tallevast, FL 34270 by Friday, February 16, 2025. Awardees will be notified in writing of their status by Friday, March 29, 2025. If your program starts earlier, please indicate in writing so we can evaluate it earlier. Applications must be legible; if the application is not legible it may affect your application decision.
